The Alpha Performance Mercedes-Benz CLA45 Heat Exchanger Upgrade offers substantially improved efficiency, offering consistently cooler boost temperatures while addressing heat soak issues, whether you are using stock or upgraded components on your 2.0L M133 turbocharged engine. This level of cooling is advantageous during routine driving, but it is much more essential for reliable performance on a road course or dragstrip. Your Mercedes-Benz M157, M278, or M133 engine should create a lot of boost pressure (27.5 psi as tested) right out of the box. Extremely high charged air temperatures are consequently produced before the air enters the stock liquid-cooled heat exchanger (intercooler). Although adequate under typical driving circumstances, your MB's stock heat exchanger—which is in charge of cooling this enhanced air—underperforms when driven quickly, in a warmer environment, or during prolonged operation.

An upgrade to the factory heat exchanger in both overall size and efficiency, ours offers better cooling of the intercooler system fluid. Being 38% larger than stock our heat exchanger core provides additional liquid capacity for greater heat dissipation. This allows the system to maintain lower fluid temperatures throughout extended periods of high-throttle operation. To improve flow and reduce pressure drop, our engineering team went a step further by tapering the inlet and outlet for smoother flow. All of this will result in cooler intake air charges and maximum power!
Super Easy, Direct Bolt-In Intercooler Upgrade
The Heat Exchanger Upgrade installs in 1.5 hours using standard hand tools. Simply take out the wheel, the OEM heat exchanger, and the inner fender liner. Without requiring any cutting or alterations to your automobile, the replacement unit simply swaps in using factory hardware.

Orders over $500 will ship insured and over $1,000 with signature and insurance in order to guarantee delivery. Orders over $1000 may not be able to ship to a different address not listed as the billing address or confirm payment address from the form of payment used. Orders with suite numbers, different billing, or apartment numbers will require signature if valued over $100.
All international orders outside of the USA are subject to duties and taxes fees per your countries jurisdiction and determined by customs.

Processing and logistics on in stock international orders can take up to 7 business days to process & ship.
In stock, non special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
