GiroDisc Porsche 14-19 911 GT3/GT3RS/GT2RS (991 Excl PCCB) Slotted Front Rotors (A1-146)
The Girodisc system replaces the OE disc on the 991 GT3 and GT3 RS with OEM iron rotors. Unlike most aftermarket solutions for this purpose, no modifications are required, allowing the use of stock unmodified pads. The disc will bolt directly to the car and operate well with the factory calipers. By replacing your brakes with lightweight high-performance alternatives rather of a large brake package, you may keep the factory bias and ABS efficiency.
Our rotor's central hat component is composed entirely of aircraft-grade aluminum 6061-T6 sourced in the United States. The disc is constructed from our own patented cast iron, poured in the United States, and machined entirely in-house at Girodisc. The rotor makes use of a curved vane design intended for racing to operate as a centrifugal pump, forcing cooling air across the disc.
The rotor and hat have a floating mount mechanism that employs 12 high strength alloy steel driving pins made in the USA to our requirements and cadmium plated for long-term corrosion resistance by Girodisc. These pins absorb braking forces while maintaining axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are held in place by class 12.9 cap screws and hardened washers. To prevent the rotors from creating noise while cold, the pins are secured on the rotor side with anti-noise spring washers, which allow the rotor to increase with thermal expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also enables the rotor to position itself between the pads.
NOTES
- Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.
- When used with performance pads and hi-temp fluid, you have what amounts to a truly amazing solution to overheating or warping rotors.

Orders over $500 will ship insured and over $1,000 with signature and insurance in order to guarantee delivery. Orders with suite numbers, different billing, or apartment numbers will require signature if valued over $100.
All international orders outside of the USA are subject to duties and taxes fees per your countries jurisdiction and determined by customs.

Processing and logistics on in stock international orders can take up to 7 business days to process & ship.
In stock, non special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
