The factory rubber hoses to the intercooler are replaced with solid pipes, as with all intercooler hard-pipe upgrades, to prevent distortion under boost. The differences end there since the devil is in the details. Aluminum tubing that has been mandrel-bent forms the single-piece pipe that makes up the COBB EVO X Intercooler Lower Hard-Pipe Kit. The intercooler outlet to the throttle body pipe no longer has ugly silicone hose connections in the middle that might potentially blow off under boost or interrupt the flow. The pipe's diameter is raised from 2.375" to 2.5", substantially improving flow. High-quality COBB silicone hose couplings and robust T-Bolt hose clamps round out the kit to prevent the embarrassing hose blow-offs that can happen when your EVO X is under extreme stress.
The COBB Intercooler Lower Hard-Pipe Kit is now compatible with GSR, MR, and MRT models and has a gorgeous powder-coated finish! The lower OEM intercooler pipe is replaced with weld-free single-pipe aluminum tubing by this kit. COBB Tuning has established a reasonable basis (testing results) to verify that this product allows the vehicle to operate within legal emissions standards and is therefore legal to be sold for on-street use in all states that accept the legal provisions of the Clean Air Act and EPA’s Anti-Tampering Policy. - NOT LEGAL FOR SALE OR USE IN CALIFORNIA ON ANY EMISSION-CONTROLLED MOTOR VEHICLE.
- Testing with the California Air Resources Board, in order to achieve 50-state compliance, is pending. Once testing is complete with California, and an EO number is issued, this product will be updated to 50-state legal status.

Orders over $500 will ship insured and over $1,000 with signature and insurance in order to guarantee delivery. All international orders outside of the USA are subject to duties and taxes fees per your countries jurisdiction and determined by customs.

Processing and logistics on in stock international orders can take up to 7 business days to process & ship.
In stock, non special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
